Streptomycin Sulfate Tablets
Streptomycin is an antibiotic drug, the first of a class of drugs calledaminoglycosides to be discovered, and was the first antibiotic remedy for tuberculosis.
Streptomycin Tablet is indicated for the treatment of individuals with moderate to severe infections caused by susceptible strains of microorganisms in mycobacterium tuberculosis and non-tuberculosisinfections. Streptomycin works by killing sensitive bacteria by stopping the production of essential proteins needed by the bacteria to survive.
