Nifedipine Tablets
Nifedipine is in a class of drugs called calcium channel blockers.Nifedipine works by relaxing the blood vessels so the heart does not have to pump as hard. It also increases the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart.
Nifedipine Tablets main uses are as an antianginal and antihypertensive, although a large number of other indications have recently been found for this agent, such as Raynaud's phenomenon, premature labor, and painful spasms of the esophagus in cancer and tetanus patients.
