Metformin HCL Tablets
Metformin is an oral anti-diabetic drug in the biguanide class. It is the first-line drug of choice for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, in particular, in overweight and obese people and those with normal kidney function.
Metformin Tablet is used alone or with other medications, including insulin, to treat type 2 diabetes. Metformin helps to control the amount ofglucose in your blood. Metformin also increases your body's response to insulin. Metformin is not used to treat type 1 diabetes.
