Product Information

Piroxicam Tablets are a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exhibits anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic activities. The mechanism of action of piroxicam, like that of other NSAIDs, is not completely understood but may be related to prostaglandin synthetase inhibition.

Piroxicam is used for relief from pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal and joint disorders such as ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, primary dysmenorrhoea, postoperative pain, and act as an analgesic, especially where there is an inflammatory component. Piroxicam may be used in acute musculoskeletal conditions and acute gout.

Piroxicam Tablets are available in the following dosages:

• 3 tablets / blister, 10 blisters / box;
• 12 tablets / blister, 50 blisters / box;
• or according to the customers specifications.
