Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory(NSAID) medication commonly taken for its analgesic and antipyretic properties. Ibuprofentablets are indicated for the treatment of primary dismenorrhea. Ibuprofen is used to relieve pain, tenderness, swelling, and stiffness caused by osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Ibuprofen is also used to relieve mild to moderate pain, including menstrual pain, headaches, muscle aches, the common cold, toothaches, and backaches. It works by stopping the body's production of a substance that causes pain, fever, and inflammation.

Paracetamol (acetaminophen) is a pain reliever and a fever reducer. The exact mechanism of action of is not known. Paracetamol is used to treat many conditions such as headache, muscle aches, arthritis, backache, toothaches, colds, and fevers.

Caffeine with paracetamol is well established analgesic.
