Glibenclamide is an anti-diabetic drug in a class of medications known as sulfonylureas.

Gilbenclamide Tablets are used to help control blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. Gilbenclamide increases insulin binding and sensitivity at receptor sites, stimulating insulin release from beta cells in pancreas and reducing blood glucose level.
