Cisplatin Powder for Injection
Cisplatin is a chemotherapy drug belonging to a group known as platinum-containing compounds. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancercells in your body.
Cisplatin Powder for Injection is used to treat carcinomas such as testicular, bladder, ovarian, stomach, gullet (oesophagus), and small lung cell cancer. It is also used to treat sarcomas, lymphomas, and germ cell tumors. It was the first member of a class of platinum-containing anti-cancer drugs, which now also includes carboplatin and oxaliplatin.
