Hyoscine Butylbromide Injection
Hyoscine butylbromide also known as scopolamine butylbromide, butylhyoscine and butylscopolamine, is a peripherally acting antimuscarinic, anticholinergic agent used as an abdominal-specific antispasmodic. It is a quaternary ammonium compound and a semisynthetic derivative of scopolamine.
Hyoscine Butylbromide is used in the treatment of conditions associated with gastro-intestinal spasm. Hyoscine Butylbromide is used to treat pain and discomfort caused by spasmodic activity in the digestive system, abdominal cramps, and menstrual cramps.
