Chlorphenamine Maleate Injection
Chlorphenamine (chlorpheniramine) is an antihistamine used in the prevention of the symptoms of allergic conditions such as rhinitis and urticaria.
Chlorphenamine Maleate Injection works by blocking histamine that your body makes during an allergic reaction. By blocking acetylcholinemade by your body, the medication helps dry up some body fluids.
Chlorphenamine provides relief of such symptoms as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes, and sneezing. Chlorphenamine may also be used to treat motion sickness, relief of anxiety or tension, or sleeplessness.
