Glucose Injection
Glucose is a sugar which provides energy for the body. Glucose is a simple sugar (monosaccharide) and an important carbohydrate in biology. Cells use it as a source of energy and a metabolic intermediate.
Glucose injections are given to diabetic patients with severehypoglycaemia resulting from insulin excess.
Glucose is occasionally used for the reduction of cerebrospinal pressure and/or cerebral oedema due to delirium tremens or acute alcohol intoxication.
This product is available in the following dosages:
- Glucose Injection 2g/10ml
- Glucose Injection 2.5g/10ml
- Glucose Injection 5g/10ml
- Glucose Injection 6g/20ml
- Glucose Injection 10g/20ml
Glucose Injections are available in the following packaging:
- 10 ampoules / tray, 1 tray / box;
- or according to the customers specifications.
