Doxycycline Capsules
Doxycycline is a member of the tetracycline antibiotics group and is commonly used to treat a variety of infections. Tetracycline antibiotics are a group of antibiotics produced by certain species of the fungus Streptomyces.
Doxycycline is used to treat bacterial infections, including pneumonia and other respiratory tract infections; Lyme disease; acne; infections of skin, genital, and urinary systems; and anthrax (after inhalational exposure). Doxycycline is also an antiprotozoal as it is used in prophylaxis to prevent malaria.
