Triple Penicillin Powder for Injection
Triple Penicillin Powder for Injection consists of benzathine penicillin, procaine penicillin, and benzylpenicillin which is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections.
Triple Penicillin is used for the treatment of moderately severe to severe infections of the upper respiratory tract, scarlet fever, erysipelas, and skin and soft tissue infections caused by susceptible streptococci; moderately severe pneumonia and otitis media caused by susceptible organisms.
Triple Penicillin is also indicated for severe pneumonia, empyema, bacteremia, pericarditis, meningitis, peritonitis, and arthritis of pneumococcal etiology are better treated with penicillin G sodium or potassium during the acute stage.
