Ceftriaxone Sodium Powder for Injection
Ceftriaxone belongs to the family of antibiotics known as cephalosporins. It is used to prevent or treat certain infections caused by bacteria. It is given by injection only into a muscle or vein.
Ceftriaxone is used to treat acute bacterial otitis media; treatment of infections of lower respiratory tract, skin and skin structures, bone and joint, and urinary tract; treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease, intra-abdominal infections, gonorrhea, meningitis, and septicemia caused by susceptible microorganisms; preoperative prophylaxis.
