Product Information

Aminophylline is a bronchodilator belonging to a class of drugs known as xanthines. It is a compound of the bronchodilator theophylline with ethylenediamine in 2:1 ratio. The ethylenediamine improves solubility, and the aminophylline is usually found as a dehydrate.

Aminophylline Injection is used in combination with other medicines to treat and prevent wheezing and trouble breathing caused by ongoing lung disease such as asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis.
