Cyproheptadine Syrup
Cyproheptadine, or Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride, Syrup is anantihistaminic and antiserotonergic agent. Cyproheptadine is a serotonin and histamine antagonist with anticholinergic and sedative effects.
Cyproheptadine Syrup relieves seasonal and year-round allergy symptoms such as watery/itchy eyes, runny nose, and sneezing. It is also used to relieve itching and hives caused by some skin conditions such as urticaria and angioedema. Cyroheptadine is also indicated for allergic conjunctivitis due to inhalant allergens and foods; amelioration of allergic reactions to blood or plasma, vasomotor rhinitis, and dermatographism.
