Lincomycin HCL + Spectinomycin HCL Injection
Lincomycin HCL + Spectinomycin HCL Injection is indicated in the control of airsacculitis caused by either Mycoplasma synoviae or M. gallisepticum susceptible to lincomycin and spectinomycin. Lincomycin HCL + Spectinomycin HCL Injection is also used for the treatment of complicated chronic respiratory disease (air sac infection) caused by Escherichia coli and M. gallisepticum susceptible to lincomycin-spectinomycin.
Lincomycin is a lincosamide antibiotic that comes from the actinomyces Streptomyces lincolnensis.
Spectinomycin is an aminocyclitol antibiotic, closely related to the aminoglycosides, produced by the bacterium Streptomyces spectabilis.
