Ceftiofur Sodium Powder for Injection
Ceftiofur Sodium is a broad spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic active against gram positive and negative bacteria. It has a broad range of in vitro activity against a variety of pathogens, including many species of Pasturella, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Salmonella, and E.coli.
Ceftiofur sodium is indicated for treatment against Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida, two of the major pathogenic organisms associated with bovine respiratory disease (pneumonia, shipping fever). Ceftiofur is also used to treat foot rot and pododermatitis in cattle and respiratory disease associated with Strep zooepidimicus in horses.
