Omeprazole Powder for Injection belongs to a group of medicines called proton pump inhibitors. It works by decreasing the amount of acid made by the stomach. It helps reduce the pain and also allows the ulcer to heal.

Omeprazole Powder for Injection is used to treat and help heal peptic ulcers. It is also a treatment for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GORD/GERD), laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
