Product Information

Cefoperazone is a third generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is one of few cephalosporin antibiotics effective in treating Pseudomonas bacterial infections which are otherwise resistant to these antibiotics.

Cefoperazone Sodium is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, peritonitis and other intra-abdominal infections, bacterial septicemia, infections of the skin and skin structures, enterococcal infections caused by susceptible organisms. Cefoperazone is also used to treat pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis, and other infections of the female genital tract.
