Ondansetron HCL Tablets

Product Information

OndansetronHCl is a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist. It reduces the activity of the vagus nerve, which deactivates the vomiting center in the medulla oblongata, and also blocks serotonin receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone.

Ondansetron HCL Tablets are used in the prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with initial and repeat courses of moderately or highly emetogenic cancer chemotherapy. Ondansetron HCL is also used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by radiation therapy and post operation.
