Carboplatin is used to treat various types of cancer. Carboplatin is achemotherapy drug that contains platinum. It is used alone or in combination with other medications to slow or stop cancer cell growth.

Carboplatin Powder for Injections are for the treatment of ovariancancer of epithelial origin in first line therapy and in second line therapy after other treatments have failed. Carboplatin is also a treatment of various cancers including small cell lung carcinoma, carcinoma of the head, neck and testis, some pediatric brain tumours, soft tissue sarcomas and neuroblastoma.
